ARTSG 2025: An Enchanting Canvas of Global Artistry
Singapore will once again play host to the prestigious ART SG, Southeast Asia's leading international art fair, from 17 to 19 January 2025, with a VIP preview and Vernissage on 16 January. Marking its third edition, ART SG promises an extraordinary showcase of creativity, diversity, and cultural dialogue.
This year’s programme features 106 esteemed galleries representing 30 countries, with a stunning array of art in multiple mediums. A highlight of the event is the PLATFORM segment, featuring four site-specific large-scale installations, and a dedicated FILM programme in collaboration with Bangkok Kunsthalle. Additionally, the TALKS series will present compelling conversations with thought leaders and artists, delving into themes such as collecting practices and solo explorations by Mandy El-Sayegh and Korakrit Arunanondchai.
Celebrated global galleries, including Gagosian, White Cube, and Thaddaeus Ropac, will stand alongside Southeast Asia’s finest, such as Richard Koh Fine Art, FOST Gallery, and STPI. Over 30% of participants are rooted in the region, offering visitors a rare glimpse into both established and emerging artistic voices from Asia.
Newcomers like Galerie Gmurzynska and Marc Straus join the fold, while returning favourites such as INKStudio and Cardi Gallery ensure the event retains its reputation as a vibrant confluence of tradition and innovation. UBS, the principal partner, has further heightened anticipation with the announcement of newly commissioned artworks and community projects.
ART SG 2025 is more than an art fair; it is a celebration of global creativity harmonised with Southeast Asia’s unique cultural pulse. Whether a seasoned collector or a curious observer, this event promises an inspiring journey through the world of contemporary art, brought to life in the dazzling backdrop of Singapore.
